如果你有想要在入手最新的iPhone Xs系列手機，或許iPhone Xs Max以及iPhone Xs兩款手機中微妙(或說微小)的差異讓你下決定前充滿了掙扎。
本篇將暫時略過價格因素，單以規格還有功能來帶你了解這兩款手機當中的差異，讓你更快做出選擇。
一、 螢幕尺寸與手感
從外觀來看，iPhone Xs Max與iPhone Xs最大的差異就是在螢幕尺寸，前者是6.5吋，後者則是5.8吋。
除了螢幕尺寸之外，兩款手機的解析度也有差距，iPhone Xs Max是2688 x 1242 畫素，iPhone Xs則是2436 x 1125 畫素，但是螢幕畫素密度一樣，都是
458ppi，也就是說螢幕內容細緻程度是相同的。
此外，螢幕最高亮度(625cd/m2)、對比度、True Tone原彩顯示、HDR顯示以及材質(OLED)的部分都是相同的。
螢幕放大後的iPhone Xs Max，要入手前，恐怕必須先考量的就是上手使用時的「重量」，以及你習慣利用手機來進行的任務。
iPhone Xs Max的機身為208公克，讓它超越了iPhone 8 Plus成為最重iPhone，而iPhone Xs的重量則是177公克，比iPhone X(174公克)略重3公克。
iPhone Xs Max 208公克的重量看似很輕，但若習慣單手使用來追劇、上網、看電子書(或完成其他任務)的話，長時間下來是否能承受，絕對需要好好思量。
二、 iPhone Xs Max獨有螢幕縮放功能
為了完整利用iPhone Xs Max的大螢幕，蘋果為它加入了先前「Plus」款式iPhone也有的「螢幕縮放」功能。無論是主畫面的App圖示、簡訊的內容、或是Email的文字等等，在啟用螢幕縮放功能後都會放大顯示，讓你使用手機時眼睛不吃力，看起來更舒適。

三、 iPhone Xs Max等候網站、App適配來充分應用螢幕空間
除了螢幕縮放功能外，利用iPhone Xs Max與iPhone Xs(以下畫面中的iPhone Xs結果，是以iPhone X進行測試)瀏覽網頁、使用App，在網站端、App開發者端若沒有特別針對iPhone Xs Max進行優化，其實螢幕上顯示的區域會跟iPhone Xs一樣大，資訊並沒有特別多。
但是相反的，如果網站、App已針對iPhone Xs Max提供優化，則能顯示比iPhone Xs更多的資訊，更充分的利用大螢幕的空間。
蘋果內建「設定」App中，已針對iPhone Xs Max優化，所以顯示內容比iPhone X(以及iPhone Xs)更多。
以Chrome瀏覽器登入中時電子報網站，在iPhone X(同iPhone Xs)以及iPhone Xs Max當中可看見的資訊量是一樣的。
以Feedly App為例，在iPhone X(同iPhone Xs)以及iPhone Xs Max當中可看見的資訊量是一樣的，也同樣沒有特別針對iPhone Xs Max進行優化。
四、 iPhone Xs Max支援Landscape模式(橫向雙層模式)
與支援螢幕縮放功能一樣，以往在「Plus」款式iPhone也有的Landscape模式，在iPhone Xs Max也有支援。
雖然iPhone X以及iPhone Xs的螢幕尺寸都大於過往Plus款iPhone的5.5吋，但是蘋果並沒有把Landscape模式導入到iPhone X以及今年的iPhone Xs當中。
讓橫向檢視模式成為iPhone Xs Max獨有的特色之一。

除了以上幾點不同之外，基本上iPhone Xs Max與iPhone Xs在相機規格與攝錄能力、立體聲錄音、更快的網路速度、Face ID、A12仿生(A12 Bionic)處理器、IP67防塵防水等級等規格，都是一致的。
不可諱言，在功能幾近一樣的前提下，iPhone Xs Max同樣容量的款式都比iPhone Xs多上4千元的價格。
但是對於可以負擔的消費者來說，詳細衡量自己的使用習慣與兩款手機不同的功能，或許是更理性的挑選方法。
